December started off great! The 1st of the month was my baby shower. My mom was a champ and threw it at her house for me. I had so many people come, honestly way more than i anticipated haha Everyone was so generous i feel so prepared to have this baby!!
Here's the cute decorations my mom did!!
Me and Liz, who's baby is going to be bffs with mine!!
One awesome thing was there was a group of ladies that I grew up with in my ward in chicago that over the years have all moved out to Utah so they were able to come, it was so great to see them!

Also my college roomie Allie was able to come too! and our babies will also be bffs!

Baby LaRue pretty much moves constantly, and sometimes sticks out randomly.
On to cows! Now that winter is here we brought back all the cows to the ranch, they are still separated out into different parcels here but it's nice not to have to drive around to go check on them anymore. This is the view from the back porch, just a few of the cows enjoying the river bottom.
As I mentioned last month, one of the symptoms of pregnancy i've had the pleasure of experiencing is excessive hormones. One of the things these hormones has done to me has made me miss Jon constantly haha and want to always be around him (which he LOVES, i'm just so not used to being this needy!) Anyway, A few weeks ago he had to deliver some cows to Montana. It was like an 8 hour drive, of course he invited me, like he always does (roadtrips are something i say "no thanks" to about 99% of the time) Butttt i really needed a break from the house and again, wanted to spend every second with him so i went!
It was actually a lot of fun. Of course I took multiple naps on the drive, but it was just nice spending so much time together and we got to spend the night at a hotel which is always fun. A mini vacay for us before baby comes. As you might remember from our last trip- (Jackson Hole in January for my B-day) My shame level is pretty low, and i debuted at breakfast just as classy as i did then. Jon WAS embarrassed for me until this gem of a lady came downstairs in her pink fluffy Care Bear onesie and stole the show. Naturally he took a picture of "me".
Well anyway. I obviously didn't document that trip very well since that's our only picture from it, I did just as good of a job at documenting Christmas as well
Literally the only picture i took that day. No wait I took one more- this is the stuffed snowman Jon's mom made for him when he was little and he used to sleep with it. She pulled it out while we were there for Christmas- so adorable
I didn't have any quotes from Jon this month so here's a nice picture of him heading out to chase cows in the middle of the night in his bathrobe 😂😂
Some cows. As they were walking towards e I was like wow this would make a beautiful pic with the mountains in the background! Unfortunately my phone camera is not great so this doesn't do it justice at all but oh well.
Well there's not much else to document for December. The holidays were wonderful to spend with family of course. Now we just wait for baby!!!
