Happy anniversary to us! We have been married for 5 years now, can you believe it?!
We were reminiscing about our first year of marriage, and how back then we thought we had the best marriage ever and life was so perfect, and it made us laugh because life is even better now! And it's so awesome to see how much our love has grown! Boy do I love him!
Okay enough of that. So for our anniversary it was my year to decide what we did and i wanted to go camping!
So friday after work we packed up and headed out to Kelly Toponce canyon, which is kind of north of Lava Hot Springs.
As you can see from our fire pit, it was a little wet up there.
It as really cloudy and rainy the first day but it was a lot of fun still!
Oh and i can't forget, during the summer there are huge coach busses that travel to and from SLC to Yellowstone and theyre full of Asians. The flying j in one of the nearby towns is a rest stop on the journey, so needless to say, when we stopped to fill up on our way that gas station was packed with Asians. I wish this pic was closer, but i was just taking it from inside the car, anyway the lady in white was doing hilarious poses for the person taking pictures.. It's funny because they're all out taking tons of photos but they're just pretty much taking pictures of the freeway with a small mountain in the background.

Sunday morning we went on a hike
We knew we wouldnt make it back in time for church so jon read some scriptures out loud on the top of the hill where we ended our hike. AKA the "church of back to nature" as my mom would call it.
The whole trip was SO fun! one of the main highights though was when we picked up a mexican and gave him a ride back to the ranch he worked at-
When we came back to the real world, we did some work up in the hills where our cows are.
and by "we" i mean, i sat on the ground and watched this handsome cowboy work
We brought the horses up too
Quincey and Tuff's babies have grown so fast!! They were born on mother's day and will be 7 weeks this coming sunday. (brace yourself for puppy overload)
Is there another holiday in June I'm forgetting about? Whatever it was, we celebrated by Jon breaking out the grill and grilling up some burgers. (oh that grill, the one we got for our wedding and this was the first time we used it, 5 years later? yeah, that one) and we played our new favorite game, Skull king. Jon always dominates me.
They were magical!
Anything else happen in june? Jon bought a car from our neighbor so he didnt have to drive his truck to work everyday, and I locked the keys in the car like 2 days after we got it so... we had to break in. Good times.
